"
It was a nice hotel, good for a night or two with standard Hilton service.IMO Moderno is just ok, you get a lot of good food but I just really don't like the whole Brazilian Steakhouse concept, next time I'll try Ocean Blue.

Why is everything closed onboard?

All restaurants close at 9:30pm minus O Sheehans, which had a VERY limited menu. I've never been on a cruise that didn't have late night food options outside of a single restaurant. Most bars are closed by 11pm except in the casino which didn't open until 10:30 or 11pm. If you are a smoker, there is one small room on the 15th deck but it was always crowded. When asking employees for information,

Got food poisoning & we were quarantined for 2 ports! It was aweful!!! They knew they poison people because they didn’t charge us for the medical visit & meds given onboard. We were a group of 18 people. This was our first cruise & it was the worst experience ever!!! It was a total waste of our money & time! Our first port was supposed to be Hav’re, France & we were going to Paris, but they

2 itinerary changes, 1st one 2 weeks prior to sailing, 2nd at time of boarding. Ended up a completely different itinerary than what was advertised. 2 new ports were added but they are not places worth visiting, while 3 good stops were eliminated. At boarding we were promised a $200 credit for the inconvenience but once on board we were told that "the gate agent does not work for NCL and she made a

First, let me say that NCL was always our favorite cruise line, but apparently, that was then, this is now.We chose this particular itinerary because of the ports. It was to be the “cruise of a lifetime”, but it was the cruise from hell.We booked about 10 months ago, paid for in full in January. Less than 2 weeks before the cruise we got an email saying they removed 2 ports. Unfortunately,

On the ship now and grateful we only have a few more days. For my family of 5, this has been a terrible experience. We took our 14 year d daughter to the clinic to make sure she didn’t have appendicitis and got a bill for $2,500!! All they did was a simple blood and urine test and told us it would cost $149 for her to be seen. Also, the food has been below average to average at best. The

Just got back from an incredible trip on the NCL Getaway- Southampton to Copenhagen! We upgraded our balcony room to a Club mini suite - so bigger bathroom, bag of laundry included, cookies, chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne included. Our cabin steward Danielle was amazing - no matter what time we left the cabin and came back, the room was always done and she was friendly and worked so

Upon arrival at the dock, I was greeted with a queue down the pier. The ship was running several hours later and it took more than two hours to board the ship. Not a good start. But that wasn't the end of the lines. The ship was sold out and we had to queue for everything - everything! The weather kept all of us inside the Getaway, making a very crowded ship. Showrooms large and small were

The Getaway is about to experience a 14-day dry dock in Copenhagen until early JUNE 2024...for some much needed TLC prior to a busy summer season in the Mediterranean. She is showing her age...for example, the exterior of the hull was losing paint and it was rusting all over the place. I think they were purposely NOT repainting, due to the upcoming dry dock. Also, the carpets are badly worn in the

First impressions are everything !! Waiting hours to board when we showed up 2 hours late because ship was late. Wheelchair customers were only being taken 2 at a time with 20 minute wait between the next set of two. They didn’t finish boarding handicap customers until 6pm… shameful !!! Over the crew were outstanding but management were clueless !! When we got to Dublin we waited over 2 hours
