KUSD teachers enjoy many benefits including a four-day work week and a school calendar that features breaks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring, as well as six weeks off in the summer! The Monday through Thursday work week and 148-day contract provide for a work-life balance difficult to match. This regular, full-time teaching position for our 2024-2025 school year is at Kingman Unified School District's Mt. Tipton School in Dolan Springs, AZ. Pre-School through 6th grade is offered to all families living in Dolan Springs, Meadview, White Hills and Chloride. Mr. Brantingham the school Principal and staff work tirelessly to create an environment of trust that fosters learning and has students ready to move onto middle school. While attending school at Mt. Tipton you are known as a Panther and have programs offered such as sports, clubs, gardening, hands-on science and mini-robotics!

Compensation:Certified Teachers (148 contracted days)July 10, 2024 – May 21, 2025Starting Salary Range $43,825 - $55,725KUSD's minimum and maximum new hire salary ranges for teachers include the district's contracted salary, determined by years of experience and higher education, plus $6,750 in state-funded Prop 301 money. The contracted salary in combination with the $6,750 in 301 money creates the base wages for teachers, which are represented by the salary ranges. In addition to base pay, certified teaching staff are eligible for an additional $3,750 in Prop 301 performance pay. The total Prop 301 money for teachers in 2024-25 is expected to be $10,500. Prop 301 money is paid separately and not included in the employment contract.Candidates offered and accepting critical needs teaching positions in math, science, and kindergarten may be eligible to receive a one-time $2,000 stipend. Candidates offered and accepting critical needs teaching positions in special education may be eligible to receive a one-time $5,000 stipend and are eligible for an additional case management stipend in FY 2024-25 of up to $4,000. All critical needs stipends are pending appropriate teaching certification.
